If you were waiting for a discount before upgrading to the new iPad Mini, well, you didn’t have to wait long at all. Just two weeks after hitting store shelves, the 2024 Apple iPad Mini is on sale for $99 off at Amazon. To take advantage of this deal, you need to click the coupon box on the listing or when it’s in your cart. All three storage configurations–128GB, 256GB, 512GB–are eligible for this deal in at least one of the four colors: Space Gray, Blue, Purple, and Starlight. Perhaps most notable is the fact the base 128GB model in Apple’s ever-popular Space Gray color is eligible for the $99 discount, dropping the price to only $400 (was $499).
There’s no telling when these deals will end, but multiple models have already sold out, so we wouldn’t recommend waiting too long to place your order.
iPad Mini A17 Pro (2024) Deals at Amazon
- iPad Mini 128GB in Space Gray — $400 (
$499) - iPad Mini 128GB in Purple — $400 (
$499) - iPad Mini 256GB in Blue — $500 (
$599) - iPad Mini 512GB in Blue — $700 (
$799)
At the time of writing, the four models above were the only ones eligible for this deal that haven’t sold out. It’s worth noting that you can still get smaller discounts on other color/storage combos, because Amazon has some peculiar prices for the new iPad Minis in general. Amazon had originally listed each one for MSRP: 128GB for $499, 256GB for $599, and 512GB for $799, but the listings now have nonuniform prices such as $484 for 128GB in Space Gray. Amazon isn’t advertising these prices as discounts, but if you check out other retailers like Best Buy or Apple, you’ll see higher prices.

For the upgrades, the iPad Mini is now equipped with a powerful A17 Pro chip, which Apple says provides up to 30% more power. The GPU is also roughly 25% faster and the tablet also offers Apple Pencil Pro support, in case you’re looking to do some quick sketching while you’re on the move.
Overall, there’s enough hardware power in here to run your favorite games and use intensive creative apps like Procreate and LumaFusion. There’s also support for Apple Intelligence–Apple’s fancy new AI system that’ll be launching soon–and the 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display will allow for some sharp Netflix and gaming sessions.
The A17 Pro iPad Mini is the first major refresh for Apple’s compact tablet series since 2021. Amazon has dropped the price of the last-gen iPad Mini to $350. This model only comes with 64GB of storage, but it also launched with a retail price of $500. It’s nice to see that Apple doubled the storage and added substantial performance boosts while maintaining the $500 entry-level price with the 2024 iPad Mini. And Amazon’s current deal makes this even nicer.
If the iPad Mini is too small….

If you’d prefer something with a more standard size, there are some deals on the 2024 iPad Pro and iPad Airs that released earlier this year. You can’t go wrong with an iPad Pro, as these tablets are designed to last for years and offer some of Apple’s best technology, like a high-resolution display and the powerful M4 chip that can run AAA games like Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
The iPad Pros might be a little too pricy for some, but for a nice middle ground option, the new M2 iPad Air tablets are both powerful and portable. Amazon is offering a few of these with M2 chips at a slightly discounted price, and they also provide a sharp display, a smooth user experience, and an impressive amount of power inside of their sleek shells.
Alternatively, if you’re looking for a tablet that you can relax with in bed by watching videos on it or browsing the web, older iPad models are more than up to the task. The 9th Gen iPad is quite the bargain for $200 at Amazon.
This week is another big one for Apple enthusiasts. The 2024 editions of the MacBook Pro, Mac Mini, and iMac arrive this Friday, November 8. All three are equipped with Apple’s new M4 chipsets.
