The highly-anticipated third season of “The Traitors” U.K. is set to return sooner than planned.
U.K. audiences will finally be able to watch on Jan. 1 on BBC One and iPlayer.
The third season will once again feature host Claudia Winkleman overseeing a group of civilians in the Scottish Highlands as they compete for a £120,000 ($152,000) cash prize.
“We welcome a new group of strangers to play the ultimate game of detection, backstabbing and trust, in the hope of winning up to £120,000,” reads the logline. “New series, and a whole new game. But who will make it through?”
The series will be accompanied by a visual podcast “Traitors Uncloaked,” hosted by comedian Ed Gamble, which will be available after every episode of the show on BBC Two, iPlayer and BBC Sounds.

Season 3 will once again air on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights.
The show, from producers Studio Lambert (part of All3Media), has proved a steadfast hit, with the BBC committing to a fourth season as well as a celebrity edition, which has yet to be cast.
All3Media rep global rights for the format and tape sales of “The Traitors,” which was originally created by IDTV in the Netherlands.
A live experience for fans of the show is also set to arrive in London next year, enabling audiences to have a go themselves.
