Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige is in Brazil right now to promote his company’s line-up at the local D23 convention.
A few hours ago he showed off various films and TV from Marvel coming in 2025 along with just briefly teasing their plans for the future beyond “Avengers: Secret Wars”.
That 2025 is set to be extremely busy with three films, three live-action TV series and three animated series on the way including “Daredevil: Born Again” which is already set for a second season.
In an interview with Omelete, Feige confirmed we’ll see more multi-season TV shows like “Loki” and “Daredevil” and says the busy 2025 will likely quieten down a bit in subsequent years:
“We’re going to have more renewals. That starts with Daredevil: Born Again. We’re really excited to premiere the first season next year, when we’ll already be filming the second. It shows that we like the idea of developing shows over multiple seasons – after all, that’s one of the most cool things on television.
I think I can say that we are back to normal, more or less. In the past, we had four films and four series a year, and I think we’ll go down to two films, three series – but that won’t be the case for 2025, specifically. It turns out that we’ve been working on these titles for a long time, and they just happen to be ready for release now. We are very excited.
2026 and 2027 will be dominated by the new “Avengers” films and Feige says they are “colossal, gigantic, and consume you completely” so there likely won’t be much room for anything else movie wise beyond the already announced “Spider-Man 4” and “Blade” films.
